G'day mates,
me :P
We had no classes todayyay🍾
(As part of Women's day) our college has already started to promote/celebrate women by organising mental health and physical wellness sessions for female students. Today, three doctors- one dentist and two gynaecologists took classes for us. They spoke about hygiene and self care, needs and wants, cleared general confusions girls get about their own bodies...
that's normal because nobody thinks it's a big deal until puberty hits like a train 😨😰🎃
It was nice we got snacks later and they gave us hygiene products-samples (promotion but who cares, free things are good things)
Then for lunch we went to canteen and ate chicken fried rice🍗🍚🥄
-with a lattè on the side- 🎧🎤
We had some serious work later -
-Wildlife Conservation Club-
We did Birding and explored the campus late:
<Birding>
The cool wildlife obsessed seniors from zoology took us for a bird walk.
We did not spot alot of birds because it was afternoon. Still we managed to spot many fancy birds and rare species of butterflies (I was walking with somebody's expensive binoculars, adjusting the lens as if I'm an expert-)
Then we headed towards the lake side because a professor from zoology came🚀 on her scooter🛵 and she scolded the seniors, idk what she said but apparently we were supposed to do only the lake.
I still love birding, hella peaceful and the green trees inside my college... so soothing.
<Lake visit>
The lake was beautiful with all the golden rays reflecting. The water was full of pretty Koi fishes causing ripples...
Ghibli coded.
We walked around the lake, I kept looking at the blue sky, green lake combination.
Then they showed us how to catch planktons, shrimps🦐 and what all equipments they use,etc.
Also, one senior, he caught a shrimp from the lake and gave it to us to take home... but Pompi wanted to cook it 🍤🥢just one tiny shrimp.
She kept torturing it inside a plastic bottle but 🦐 is a fighter;
queen never cry ✅
shrimp NEVER DIES ❎
It's actually harder to catch shrimps in that lake, the water keeps getting muddy when you step inside and you'll have to wait for all the sand to calm down in depths. The whole thing was therapeutic.
Then showed us how a heat sensor/thermal camera is used, pretty cool gadget.
We got mango juice🥭 for free later and took a pledge about conserving our biodiversity, protecting the flora and fauna, being responsible, etc.
I also made a new friend as well from Economics department, she's also a first year, she's so... pink and all lovely. We walked out together, I was filming everything...
<After hours>
<strawberries>
Ofcourse I did not buy none of the above, these are strictly for aesthetic purposes only. I'll only buy these when I go back to my hometown. I don't want to hurt my wallet, I'll hurt my parents' wallet.
🛺 We reach home finally.
I was aggressively hungry 🐉
Pompi made a mushroom 🍜 soup with many vegetables.
I washed our ID card tags(red cloth part) we sweat alot and ofc we hang our ID tags around our necks. It's very dirty.
Also, that's to show appreciation for her cooking🥘🍲 I'm a very considerate person 👾 lol
THANKYOU SO MVCH for reading -
Until next time <tomorrow yezz>
Rating today: ☆☆☆☆☆
